^w^ The western South Pacific is home to the Tasseled Wobbegong. The Spotted Wobbegong uses its pectoral fins to climb over ridges between tide pools with its back completely out of the water.
^w^ The pectoral fins of the Angel Shark are broad and extend along the sides of the body so it swims like a ray. Angel Sharks stay buried in the sandy bottom and ambush prey that swims by.
^w^ The Swell Sharks can swallow air or water and distend the stomach until they take on a nearly spherical shape -- hence the name.
^w^ The smallest shark yet identified is the Pygmy Shark.
^w^ Dogfish Sharks get their name from hunting in packs. They surround larger prey that would be too large for a single Dogfish Shark.
